Personalised Approach

From classical to contemporary, lessons are customised to match your musical interests. Is there a piece you particularly want to learn? I would love to teach it to you!

Learn Differently

I works with a diverse range of students. Whether you are neurodivergent or neurotypical learner, I have you covered.

Science Backed Technique: No need to push through discomfort! Students are taught to develop body awareness and how to coordinate movement for effortless and efficient playing.

Focus on Strengths and Interests: I integrate music genres or pieces that resonate with the student’s interests, encouraging engagement and motivation, whilst providing a structured curriculum that builds the important foundational skills for flourishing musical development.

Performance Anxiety: Mindful strategies to calm the nervous system are taught routinely so that students can have more enjoyable experiences at the piano (and performing and exams are optional, not mandatory)!

Convenience: Learn from the comfort of your own home with live online lessons that save you time and hassle.

Adjustable Lesson Options: Different lesson attendance options are available that fit your busy lifestyle. You never need to miss a lesson due to illness.

Preparation: Exam preparation is available, as well as preparation for auditions and other performances.

Performance Opportunities

Students are offered multiple opportunities to perform their pieces to their peers.

Pre-recorded Recitals

Pre-recorded recitals offer students a low stress way to perform their pieces.

Students record their pieces without the pressure and anxiety of a live performance, and the videos are edited together for a full concert.

Group Lessons

Online group lessons allow students to perform to their peers, and get instant constructive feedback.

Small group sizes provide a comfortable and supportive environment for students to perform to their peers.

Choosing a piano teacher is an important decision. If you’re interested in lessons that prioritise understanding, wellbeing, and long-term musical development, I invite you to get in touch.
